After two long weeks of existing, I'm ready for some R&R.
Palm Desert, here we come.

And I soiled myself.
Next time I'll keep the pregame to one bottle.

Meeting the G'parents

My grandparents came all the way from Washington DC to meet me.

We are going to spend a fabulous five days together.


I can't wait to hit the Tahoe scene in my new snowsuit. Thank you Mrs. Sullivan!!

Bloomingdale's just delivered four big boxes by courrier, courtesy of Daddy's bosses.

It's no less than I deserve.

As if I hadn't seen enough of him in the NICU, I went to see Dr. Langston.
He's okay as far as docs go--he turns me upside down and makes me laugh.
And he gave my parents shots too. ha ha.
Thank my pacifier that it sounds like I won't be seeing him any more than the other babies do.

Then I helped daddy with some lawyer work.

Life outside of the NICU

Met my new roommate today.

Hairiest baby I've ever seen, but I've heard SF is full of hippies.

At least he had impeccable manners. He even offered me his bone.

Taking my new wheels for a spin

Took the 'rents to Starbucks for a caffeine fix.
Which necessitated a wardrobe change (of course).

Bustin' out of this joint

Dad drove the getaway car.

C u NICU.
And I won't miss you.
Not one bit.
Well, maybe some of the nurses.
They really know how to work those bottles.

My Aunties

NICU sucks

And so do I.
On my pacifier, that is.
But at least I'm finding ways to while away the hours.

My Wheels

Because only the best will do....

It's not easy being born

It took me 36 hours.

After all, anything worth doing, is worth doing well.
